Which fillers are dissolvable?

Only hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, like Stylage, Juvederm, and Restylane can be dissolved.

What to expect:

Here’s what to expect when removing fillers:

A licensed health professional will perform a patch test by applying a small amount of hyaluronidase on your arm to check for an allergy or sensitivity.
If you do not have any adverse reactions, the area is cleansed with a disinfectant solution and numbing cream is applied to minimize discomfort from the needle.
Next, hyaluronidase is injected into different parts of the migrated area, with the goal of getting the solution as close to the HA filler as possible.
Once finished, the area is cleansed once more and aftercare balm or cream is applied.

After the patch test, the entire process takes just a few minutes.

How long will it take fillers to dissolve?

Hyaluronidase has an immediate effect. However, everyone’s body chemistry is different, not everyone notices results at the same rate.

Different brands of HA fillers may degrade at different speeds. The amount of filler you want dissolved can also factor in. When can I refill my lips after getting it dissolved?
